Chronic Dev-Team are back with a bang and this time they are up to creating a jailbreak for all iDevices running the iOS 4.1 firmware. Nevertheless they have come back with some serious potential as they introduce the SHAtter exploit.
Chronic Dev Team and their Greenpois0n were blamed to be fake as they accepted donations but never made a release. Some days ago, they made a breakthrough by revealing a new bootrom exploit "SHAtter". This means that iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, and iPad are jailbroken for life until Apple introduces hardware change in the devices by replacing the bootrom.
A recent update by Pod2G, the hacker that actually developed the SHAtter exploit along with P0sixninja have tweeted that their progress is progressing steadily. Unfortunately there is no fixed release date for Greenp0ison
